Note,
using 1.2.4 i was doing createNode(array('fieldid' => $value)) and it worked.
There is something wrong somewhere (either in my code or in nestedset) because it worked and now it doesn't...

You should update the examples to make it very clear. IIRC the names are the same in the array for COLNAME and VALUE and it makes it very confusing. I read the inline doc and got confused. Arnaud.
