Hi,
I tested Net_Server with POST requests from the following browsers:
Mozilla 1.4
Opera 7.11
IE 6.0.28
Netscape 7.0
Netscape 4.5
It fails with all of them, except NS4.5. So RFC-2616 is actually implemented by new browsers:
"Certain buggy HTTP/1.0 client implementations generate extra CRLF's
after a POST request. To restate what is explicitly forbidden by the
BNF, an HTTP/1.1 client MUST NOT preface or follow a request with an
extra CRLF."
Net_Server should then be modified because is not reasonable to wait for an end character at the end
of every request stream.
