That would be quite a task.

this should do the trick: cd $CVSROOT/pear find . -name test -a -type d -exec mv \{\} dirname \{\}/tests find . -name doc -a -type d -exec mv \{\} dirname \{\}/docs

And I think the only one with direct access to the CVS server among the core pear dev crowd is the insanely busy Stig.
