Regarding your proposal:
I'd take care of this since I believe this is okay with Pierre. But
I'm a bit sceptic about your proposal (2 functions):
What do I have to conclude from the current thread on the list? Will
you improve the ssn-checking further?
For the fqdn-checkfunction I'm -1 for integration, since it should in
my eyes be a more generic function. How about checking for valid fqdn
and then doing a check for ".at" yourself, outside Validate?
