Version number of stable packages

Hi,
I'm maintaining XML_Util. The package is currently marked as stable but
has a version number lower than 1.0, as I didn't know that packages need
to have a version number of at least 1.0 to be marked as stable.
Should I change the version to 1.0 or leave it the way it currently is?
