Hi, I asked about this a while back and there is a facility to force the 'pear' command in to updating packages that are not classed as stable. Try:- Pear config-show To see what you are currently set to for 'preferred_state'. Now use Pear config-set preferred_state beta Or, 'alpha' if you want. Now try doing your pear upgrades again.
