PHP PicoContainer / PHP Component Model (PCOM)

For those of you interested in my attempts to define something like a "PHP Component Model (PCOM)": I abandoned the work on this and am now porting the PicoContainer [1] to PHP. This makes IMHO much more sense and there are already a couple of implementations of PicoContainer apart from the original Java one, like Ruby [2] for instance. My current plan is to have "something working" before christmas and then {I|we} have to decide whether or not this should be developed in the PEAR CVS repository.
