Hi,
I just released a new version of XML_Beautifier and did some refactoring
on the package. It now contains of thre parts:
- the Tokenizer: This class parses an XML document and returns an array
that represents the structure of the XML document.
- the Renderers: They are used to serialize the tokens created by the
tokenizer back to an XML string
- the Beautifier: It provides an API to use the other two parts.
Now my question is if the tokenizer should be released as seperate
package, so it could be used by other applications or if it should stay
in the XML_Beautifier package.
It could easily turned independent from the package.
To take a look at the Tokenizer either install XML_Beautifier 0.3 or use
CVS:
http://cvs.php.net/co.php/pear/XML_Beautifier/Beautifier/Tokenizer.php?l
ogin=2&r=1.1
Just to make sure nobody gets confused: I did not add a new package to
PEAR, XML_Beautifier has been approved, the functionality was there I
just cleaned it up a bit.
