New Comment:
Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PEAR itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PEAR, please
visit http://pear.php.net/support.php as this bug
system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.
Thank you for your interest in PEAR.
OK, my thought was right.
Please upgrade your pear installation using go-pear. See the pear
manual for the procedure. BSD port, even if it is an usefull system,
should actually not be used to install pear (and/or php but this is
another topic).
I set it as bogus(not a developer issue) as we not responsible of
external packages or installation tools. Contact openBSD php
maintainers to get their ports uptodated if you still like to use
them.
thanks for your interest,
pierre

We need the php version and the pear version. you can get it using the
folliwing command:
PHP:
$> php -v
PEAR
$> pear -V
That said, I doubt BSD port are a good way to install pear (or php ;)
). They are outdated most of the times.
