PHP Conference 2004 a (Amsterdam), planning

Hi PEARs! Since most of you will know, the International PHP Conference 2004 a (as last year located in Amsterdam) will take place in the time from 2003/05/03 until 2003/05/05. Lukas, Stefan N. and me proposed to make a power workshop about PEAR and it's usage on the first day of the conference. Because the organizers of the conference only allow 1 speaker per power workshop to come to the conference for free and Lukas has another sessions on his own, he handed the PEAR booth to Stefan N. (if nobody has something against that). Stefan will be supported by Lukas and me. (That does not mean, we are unhappy about every PEAR attending the conference and supporting us.) For the conference we have several ideas, to realize and want to get some feedback from your side / involve you all in the planning and relization. 1. PEAR meeting: Since there will be no official meeting point for PEARs on FOSDEM this year, we want to propose to let this take place in Amsterdam. 2. Posters and t-shirts: Lukas has offered to make some posters to be put up at the booth and I will create some T-Shirts an that basis again. (As we did for Frankfurt last year.) 3. Lottery: I had the idea to realize a little lottery quiz during the conference where we can raffle some t-shirts. I thought about some PEAR related questions. That will be heavy advertisement for PEAR and can give us a tiny view on the spread of PEAR. BackendMedia (Lukas company) will sponsore the shirts. In hope to get some comments. Regards, Toby
