release number for next db package

Hi Folks: I'm close to wrapping up the next release of DB. I'm guessing the next release number should be 1.5.0RC3. But, RC's generally indicate that only bugs are going to be fixed and little else will change. Well, there have been been a LOT of changes, as those watching the CVS list know. So, should the release number really be 1.5.0RC3?
