From what I saw this looks really good -
Couple of quesitons?
- Does it handle native types - eg. database specific types... (the xml schema seems to be quite rich (so I presume it probably does)
- Is there any Database Query->XML schema utility.. One of the realities of development that I found using MDB schemas, was that I did the initial design OK in it, but after 6 months work - I had hacked the database around so much, the original XML was no longer valid (and really needed regenerating from the DB..)
.. hence remembering some of the database specific stuff like sequence names, etc. would be very usefull...

DB Folks, As many of you know, the Apache Database Torque project has developed an xml schema for modeling sql databases. It actually goes a bit further and tries to do some object mapping as well. Here is a link to some PHP classes for processing the database portion of Torque. I don't know if these classes will fit into the grand PEAR DB/MDB/Schema/Structure master plan but they might prove to be of some interest. http://cerad.org/torque/index.php Lukas, Your server keeps bouncing my emails. Is that a hint? Enjoy Art-- Can you help out? Need Consulting Services or Know of a Job? http://www.akbkhome.com
