changelog on website

Hi: I'm looking at the changelog for the new DB release. The formatting makes it hard to read, and considering there are so many changes in this release, it's even harder. Also, the package.xml had <br /> in it, which I escaped to &lt;br /&gt;. Now that comes out as HTML and gets rendered as a line break. So, it's obviously possible to have HTML in the changelog record in the database. I would like to clean up the <br /> issue and also format the list so it's easily comprehendable. How can I accomplish this, please?
