Hi all! Has anyone ever seen a Package/Class that provides function to "Sanitize" HTML-Code? For example to view bogus emails in a webmail-client, or to filter html-user-input. Would there be any interest to put this into a PEAR-Package?
http://pecl.php.net/tidy This extension is bundled with php5 and works like a charm with php4. I'm not in favour to add a PHP version of tidy. pierre
ok, your point ;-) maybe i should've been more detailled, what i was thinking of "sanitizing" was removing/converting any bogus code that connects to some other site. for example when viewing spam-mails. remove every outside img's, style-sheets and whatever other possibilities exist to submit a tracking id. what do you think? stephan
