Hi PEAR Devs, Following a prompting e-mail from Stefan Neufeind, I've decided to start up development of File_Ogg again, adding Speex and Theora to the existing Vorbis virtual stream handler. I will also be making a few API changes (package is still in "alpha" state). This post is really a question about CVS policy. For testing purposes, it is necessary to upload an Ogg file to the repository. Now, it doesn't necessarily have to be an 18 minute guitar solo or anything, but it will be larger than a lot of files already in there. Is this OK, or does anyone have any alternative suggestions. Needless to say, any samples uploaded will be free of copyright restrictions. Regards, David
A small 10-30s ogg file shouldn't be a problem IMO, you can also use it for testing upon package install... because tests is something you SHOULD be doing, you *must* have an ogg file, therefore I believe it is just fine to put one in CVS. Put it in the /data directory :) - Davey
