Actually, I think it is going to happen, but without the BC break. In other words, pushErrorHandling() will remain the same, but should be used only for instance error handling. Legacy apps should switch to pushGlobalErrorHandling() for static calls, and then all is OK. Unless the other core devs veto it, I plan to commit this code. Greg
