Payment_Process 0.5
===================
I'm pleased to announce the release of Payment_Process 0.5.
Changes
=======
There have been a number of changes since v0.2, such as abstracting the
payment type (e.g. credit card, echeck, etc) and improving the data returned
to the caller. The API is tentatively set for 1.0, though some changes may be
made before that release. There is now an Authorize.net Processor, thanks to
Joe Stump. All of Payment_Process is now under v3.0 of the PHP License.
Additionally, Joe Stump has been made co-lead for his invaluable
contributions, both to the core of Payment_Process and the Authorize.net
Processor.
Status
======
The code is working well at this point, and the Authorize.net Processor is
being used in a production system. The DPILink Processor has been tested and
is also being used in a project under development. However, this is still
beta code, and you are advised to test before using it in a production
system.
Moving Forward
==============
Since the API is mostly stable at this point, we'd like to solicit
contributors to write additional Processors. The goal is to have at least 5
Processors for the 1.0 release.
