Stefan Neufeind (http://pear.php.net/user/neufeind) has commented on the proposal for RFC::Package naming, file naming and directory structure RFC. Comment: I agree that the RFC lacks some clarifications in several points (as outlined in the other comments so far). But thinking about "global namespace polution" (since we don't really have something like a "namespace") it's imho correct that package-names such as Mail or Config (without disrespect to the existing one's of this kind) should be avoided for new packages - and I believe that most people will agree. As Pierre suggested, maybe the original RFC for this should be "updated" instead.
