Worked it out, thanks Stefan.
Yes, you do need to checkout the entire pear/ folder. Folders can be added
with "cvs add your-folder".

As you can see, it's not a tiny little script any more!
In the next couple of days, I'll be changing the API, introducing
simultaneous quering and improving segmented packet handling.
