So the include path wasn't being set correctly for that scenario. Yeah, now that I'm looking at it, that's exactly the problem. We'll have to think of a universal way to make the include_path adjustments in tests/driver/setup.inc(.cvs) and tests/include.inc work regardless of the files being from an installation or a CVS checkout. Perhaps having the installer make some tweaks to the ini_set() statement and if they're not there rely on the existing code. Can someone please provide me a link to the docs that talk about all of the @foo@ replacements that can be handled by the installer? In addition, it'd be REALLY cool if someone can please provide a patch to these two files plus package.xml that'll deal with this. Fixed the other two things you noticed.
