Hi, To be frank I was knowledgeable neither about the Zend 5.0 nor about APC. While I was compiling the APC with Zend 5.0 I collated the Zend 4.0 and Zend 5.0 data structures and correspondingly modified the APC code to get compiled. But I have one problem. APC is serving the pages only the first time.(No use of cache :)) Second time I am getting Segmentation fault. When I use the APC with PHP 4.3.3 I did not get any such Segmentation faults. In both versions of PHP I use shared memory. When I access php 4.3.3 ipcs is not showing any Semophore array entries. When I access php 5.0.0 ipcs is showing one Semophore array entry as below, ------ Semaphore Arrays -------- key semid owner perms nsems 0x00000000 294912 nobody 600 1 Have to investigate. One more query what is the meaning of hists and misses with respect to APC and relative values. Typically I get no of hits more than 5 times the number of misses. Please advise.
