Hi Florent Monnier! You wrote:
CSS is not only used in HTML, it used in other languages, like for exemple SVG
So soudn't it be: CSS_HTML CSS_SVG CSS_ etc.. ?
I do not see the sense. HTML is also used with other langs (JS,...). So, why not stay with the current schema and call another package SVG_CSS?
If anything, it would be File_CSS...
Admittedly, I've not really given too much thought to other uses of CSS beyond (X)HTML and other XML variations. If SVG uses it, then it must use the same schema as any regular CSS that could be used for HTML. When I proposed the package, it seemed clear to people that it was most often useful when used in conjunction with HTML. Hence the name I chose. However, I fully intend to support any and all standards compliant CSS. Whether or not it bears the proper name is a different issue, and it's kinda late for a name change now. I would be interested in knowing how CSS for SVG is different from CSS when used in conjunction with HTML. Klaus
