XML_Tree Uber Patch

Hi Pears, firstly, this e-mail is CC'ed to both leads on the XML_Tree package. Now, it would seem that both leads of this package have been busy as of late (read: > 6months) I would like to point you all in the direction of: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=1415 This is a patch that fixes 6 XML_Tree bugs, dating from as far back as October 2003. The fact that neither of the leads have fixed any of these bugs, despite numerous patches/fixes being supplied, makes me wonder if they are even bothered about the package anymore. If QA could please authorize the commit of this patch (or do it themselves) and the release of a 2.0b3 package, I would be most greatful. To the leads, sorry if going to straight to QA has offended you, if either of you is willing to add me as a third lead I would gladly accept this and try to fix the remaining larger bugs too. I would also like to see if I can work in PHP5 support before 2.0 final, the only bug I've found so far is in XML_Tree::getTreeFromString() because of changes to the PHP5 XML functions Thanks for your time. - Davey
