Daniel Convissor (http://pear.php.net/user/danielc) has commented on the proposal for RFC::Package naming, file naming and directory structure RFC. Comment: Grammar fixes for "Naming conventions," paragraph 2: Beside a name, each package has a "package identifier," which is defined by the package name and all levels above the package level. The identifier is built by walking through the structure tree until the package is reached. So, the last part of the package identifier is allways the package name. Grammar fixes for "Naming conventions," paragraph 3: A category level can have one or more "prefixes," which define the identification of a category inside package identifiers. For example the category "File System" has the prefixes "File" and "Archive". Grammar fixes for "Class structure" A package has to consist of 1 base class, which has the same name as the package identifier. Sub-classes may be added as necessary and their names must be prefixed by its major class. I have other comments, but I want to submit these now so others don't need to duplicate them. Please wait to put this to a vote, please. There are still conceptual issues that need discussing before we vote on it.
