It also broke the 'pear' script. I had to run php /usr/local/lib/php/pearcmd.php directly.That must be because I packaged the source on windows - the pear command probably has windows line breaks. I've manually fixed this, it should work in the PEAR-1.4.0dev2 tarball. http://www.chiaraquartet.net/PEAR-1.4.0dev2.tgz Greg
