On Auth:
Instead of passing username, password, other things it could be
refactored to passing an associative array like array ( 'username' =>
'johnn', 'password' => 'sillepass', 'area4' =>
'allowed');
So the keys would be the columnname, and the values would be the
required value.

It would be nice to have an authentication mechanism like pam is for
unices. If i'm not mistaken, LiveUser package is becoming such a thing?
