Well it seems that Tony has been working on it after all. http://www.tonybibbs.com/index.php?topic=auth_ent I actually just called to get this package removed, because there has been no work done on it. Tony has also not replied to this call. The main problem in my eye is that the package hasnt seen a single release in over a year and people are getting confused about it, especially since we have another package that does more or less exactly what Auth_Enterprise does. Anyways the important bit is that we should reexamine where Auth_Enterprise is heading (if at all) and how it relates to other packages in PEAR like LiveUser. PEAR doesnt want redundant packages. I dont remember the specific reasons why the package was added when it was (because LiveUser existed back then already). So the important bit is ensuring that Auth_Enterprise doesnt end up simply being a redundant implementation of LiveUser (with each maybe providing a few features that the other doesnt and with a different API). So In conclusion I recommend that you take a look at the source in CVS at the URL I mentioned.
