Well, all that is supported by PEAR_Common. Stig and I discused that
time ago and I implemented the <libfile> tag, the extension 'role' and
the 'sources' tag. Sorry don't remember how that worked :-). Any way
actually the installer ignores all this.
I don't know what are the requirements for C extension, but if someone
point me in the right direction I could implement it.
