Hi PEARs! So, here some (hopefully wise) words from my side. First of all I want to thank the PEAR community for it's confidence and trust in me and the other 6 developers. QA is one of the most important areas in PEAR and I'm overjoyed to be part of that. Second I want to give my congratulations to my fellow core QA'ers. Not only to those elected for the core team, but to everyone active for PEAR QA for a good official start of the assurance. I hope we will do a great job all together and improve the quality of PEAR and it's packages by a huge amount. Last but not least I would like to invite everyone who's currently not active for QA to take part in our work by testing of packages, reporting of QA issues and thinking about optimal processes to raise the quality of PEAR.
