As it's set up right now, the code will return a PEAR_Error if you try and load a file that's not valid: <?php include("File/DNS.php"); $zonefile = new File_DNS; $loaded = $zonefile->load('/zones/example.com', 'example.com'); if (PEAR::isError($loaded)) { ... } ... ?> Is this what you mean? Or do you mean an isValid() function to check the changes made by the user? To make sure there are no A's pointing at www.example.com, or MX with a preference of -14.2 ? I plan to have validation of the data supplied with the addRecord/setFoo fuynctions implemented before I declare the package even beta :) Quick mini roadmap: 0.0.X - Devel - Local versions working up to a workable version. 0.1.0 - Alpha - Initial version in PEAR. Has the create, add/del Foo functions. Workable 0.1.X - Alpha - Slowly working up from workable to a stable API and validation of user-input. 0.2.0 - Beta - Stable API, good working code. 0.9.0 - RC - Stable API, leave like that for ~1 month. 1.0.0 - Stable - First Stable Release.
