Hi,
I hardly recommend using XML_Parser or something similar for creating a database from a dump. sqlite
supports databases up to 2 terabytes and this line will certainly reach the memory limit:
$xmlText = file_get_contents( $xmlFile );
As your XML file will be a lot larger that the database...
Using XML_Parser (or the xmlreader extension, if you stick to PHP5) will avoid this problem.
