To see if WS with attachment are working faster than WS with big string envelops, I am building a simple WS that received a MIME or DIME attachment and stores it server-side.
The client code is :
------
require_once('SOAP/Client.php');
$wsdl=new SOAP_WSDL('http://localhost:8080/simpleWSAttachment.php?wsdl');
$webservice=$wsdl->getProxy();
$webservice->setOpt("timeout", 0);
$webservice->setOpt("trace ",1);
$fName = "c:\\temp\\1kb.file";
$fAttachment = new SOAP_Attachment('test','text/plain',$fName);
$methodValue = new SOAP_Value('testattach', 'Struct', array($fAttachment));
$response=$webservice->echoAttachment(array($fAttachment));
var_dump($response);
----------
But I keep on getting a SOAP Fault 'DIME record 1 is not a SOAP envelop!' so I dumped the $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA and I get plenty of binary garbage around the envelop http://thermotrack.free.fr/copyXML.jpg
[sorry I had to put to an link to an image as it is not possible to copy the binary content]
I am doing something wrong or is the PEAR lib that does it ?
Romain.
