The Zend Engine 2 will be most likely the foundation that PHP5 will be
based on and is allready heavily under development ...
You can probably find a lot of info on www.zend.com
There is also a forum there for discussions of what should be included.
I think the main advances will be in enhanced OO support both from a
coding aspect and internal speed improvements.
