The only class in pear that does something close is XML_Wddx - I guess you could give it a real name.. eg. XML_PhpVariable with $str = XML_PhpVariable::serialize($v) $var = XML_PhpVariable::unserialize($string|$stream); Just throwing ideas around.... Regards Alan Stephan Schmidt wrote:
Hi,
guess XML_Serializer had the same issue, but I am now also likely to face the same issue. What if you have a package consisting of a serializer and an unserializer. How is that package supposed to be called and what are the serializer and unserializer classes supposed to be named?
I asked the same question on the list some time ago. The only response I got was to split this into two packages, which I personally dislike. But naming a class XML_Serializer_Unserializer seems to be stupid... Stephan
