Mime multipart/alternative bug

Hi, I have thrown some info in to a bug report here: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=1841 It seems that nobody is really bothering to look at bugs in this package. I was wondering if anyone had the time to just take a quick look at the bug and suggest a way to avoid what is happening (I appreciate that nobody has time to sit and fix the bug, so just telling me why and how to get around it would be a big help). Sorry to post a question like this to the dev list, but this issue is causing me major problems as I am using the class throughout my website which send a lot of emails per day. TIA, Justin Fielding.
