Hi Demian,
Try using the 'installexceptions' option to override these as in:
'installexceptions' =>
array(
'/etc/mysql_SQL.php' => 'DB',
)
Greg
P.S. this thread may be better placed on pear-general

Hiya Greg I've packaged up a project with PEAR_PackageFileManager and it works well with one exception. I have two files that I need copied into the PEAR tree, one is a custom MySQL driver for PEAR::DB and the other is Richard Heyes' Tree class which needs to go in the HTML folder. I couldn't find a straightforward way to get the package manager to copy these in, so achieved it by hacking the following: $e = $packagexml->setOptions(array( ...'exceptions' => array(...'etc/mysql_SGL.php' => 'php', 'etc/Tree.php' => 'php', ), 'installas' => array( 'etc/mysql_SGL.php' => '../DB/mysql_SGL.php', 'etc/Tree.php' => '../HTML/Tree.php', ),This actually works in Windows but with Linux I get the following errors: Warning: mkdir(/usr/local/lib/php/seagull/..): File exists in System.php on line 249 Warning: mkdir(/usr/local/lib/php/seagull/../DB): File exists in System.php on line 249 failed to mkdir /usr/local/lib/php/seagull/../DB Understandable since it's running a System::mkdir(), however is there a way around the problem? I'm running the following for the install: pear install --onlyreqdeps http://optusnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/seagull/seagull-0.3.10.tgz cheers Demian
