Hi,
With the latest commits and unit tests, PEAR's pear-core CVS HEAD is approaching stable.
Successfully tested and working are some exciting new features:
1) 100% pre-download dependency resolution
if you type
$ pear install SOAP
it will determine all of the dependencies you don't have installed, and let you know without downloading a single package [1]
2) dependencies for os, architecture, and packages that provide extensions (package.xml 2.0 features)
Not yet fully tested:
- uninstall (probably not fully working for package.xml 2.0)
- tasks/roles
Greg
[1] the error messages are a bit too verbose/helpful for my tastes, this will change.
