Re: Get to the international php conf FREE!

I'd be happy to do that :) Klaus Lukas Smith wrote:

Hi, we are looking for someone to manage the PEAR booth at the international php conference. Since PEAR is well represented other people will be around to help out. However it would be great to have someone dedicated to this task. The person who takes over this task even gets in free to the entire course of the conference! However hotel and transportation will have to be covered by the person themselves. If absolutely necessary I may be able to help out with a little bit of money out of my companies pocket to help lessen the burden. But I dont want to stress my limited companies funds unless absolutly necessary. Generelly I cannot stress how much I benefited from going to the php conference a few years back for the first time. Aside from the interesting talks I was able to see, the main point was in meeting all the people in person. So anyone interested please drop me a line. We dont have a formal selection process so its a first come first serve thing. Hmm, for those of you wondering what the job actually entails here is a quick run down: - answer questions about PEAR in general - answer questions about specific PEAR packages - point people to the various PEAR developers at the conference If you dont have a laptop yourself I think we will probably manage to have a laptop at the booth at all times provided by one of the many other PEAR developers present. Internet access will also be provided, so you can also give people hands on advice. regards, Lukas
