I've created a new component for QuickForm which gives the ability to add a text box that will be used to filter data in one or more select boxes.
Isn't this what the herselect element does?
No, hierselect lets you populate a select box based on the value of another select box. This new one lets you type a string and filters the select box accordingly.
I have to add that the filter can be used to get options that begin with the text you specify, or contain that text. This is the aim of the "true" or "false" second parameter, after the name of the target select. My main question is whether I have conceived it right or not, as it is my first QuickForm element ... -Nicolas -- Nicolas "Brush" HOIZEY Clever Age : http://www.clever-age.com/ Gastero Prod : http://www.gasteroprod.com/ phpMyChat : http://phpmychat.sf.net/
