I guess Greg didnt think of supporting grandfather rules for packages that predate our standards. Generally I think we should therefore work with warnings instead of denying the action alltogether.
No, I fixed it and tested it. The only possibility is that the fix is not on pearweb. Could someone please copy release-upload.php from cvs onto pearweb? The sync is far too rare. Greg
