Hello Justin, From Wednesday, December 8, 2004, 11:43:11 PM, you wrote: JP> On Wed, 8 Dec 2004 14:30:38 -0500, Matt Friedman JP> <matt.friedman@gmail.com> wrote: >> Hi, >> >> We want to put together a web service using PEAR::XML_RPC to run on >> HTTPS. Allow me to disappoint you. =) I offer you a bet for some bottles of beer what many patches would not be applied soon. =) To say at least until Christmas. Perhaps even after 10 of January 2005 they will not be in place. Because some of them need serious testing, which I've already done, but since nobody is going to make me maintainer on this package and nobody except me has time and ability to test these they will stay forever. =) Quite a perspective. The only person I was able to force somehow to do the changes was Dan, but I'd better not account on him anymore, especially after he has done CS work before submitting patches in bugreports thus making patch integration at least twice that hard. That's a very funny situation, indeed. =) But for production purposes leaving all these whims I can only recommend to look a different XML_RPC package for PHP on http://xmlrpc.com Wordpress already made it's choice abandoning PEAR XML_RPC support in favour of Inutio XML-RPC Library under BSD license. http://scripts.incutio.com/xmlrpc/ t --
