To make the PEAR QA people happy I re-added assertSame() and
assertNotSame() to the PHP 4 version of PHPUnit and it will be part of
PHPUnit-1.2.0. These new versions of the methods will, however, now
behave like their PHPUnit2 counterparts and only work on objects or NULL
(which they were documented to do, btw.) and no longer work on strings,
for instance.
Additionally, they only work with PHP 5, since (as I stated before)
their functionality cannot be implemented in PHP 4.
I hope that everyone (except myself) is happy now.
A very frustrated
Sebastian
