Anyone with time could provide a patch to the file pearweb/include/signatures.php that would instead try to read the signature from the $dbh object with something like this query: $dbh->getOne('SELECT cache FROM xmlrpcsignatures WHERE lastmod = ?', array(@filemtime(dirname(__FILE__) . '/pear-database.php')); Then, the saving code at the end could be: // insert code that checks to see if there is any entry at all $dbh->query('UPDATE xmlrpcsignatures SET lastmod = ?, cache = ? '); etc. etc. I have no time to do this for a while. Someone else needs to step up to the plate. GregHi, Those of you experiencing "no signature found for method(blah,blah,...)" This is a bug caused by the server-side cache of xml-rpc signatures. If you see this bug, you need to ask a server admin to erase PEAR_TMPDIR . '/pear-database.php.index' This will fix it. However, I just committed some code that should prevent the race condition that seems to be causing this rare problem.I just have a guy on #pear that reports this issue again: [00:57] <SB> Anyone know a fix for the "no signature found for package.info(string, string, bool)" problem? I've tried everything that I could find on the mailing lists. Darn thing worked just last night. :/ regards, Lukas
