Am I correct in my reading of this message? Mails to me were bounced by the php.net systems, which then sent more messages to verify the address?Yes, it appears that some spam got through to lists, which was then rejected when it arrived at the MX that handles @php.net (lists are on a separate box). This triggered qmail to record the bounce and now, 2 weeks later, it sent you an email to see if things are ok (which they, because otherwise you wouldn't have got the mail :). I'll look into ways to stop this from happening in the future, as I agree that it is annoying. --Wez.
