This *could* make sense on servers, but PEAR isn't only about servers.
It also deals with client apps. This *may* be ok for PEAR, but it
would have to be written in a re-usable component manner and it would
probably go in a Util category. Regardless, this seems interesting. If
you post a link to some code I may want to check it out (I could
always use it on my Zaurus ;-).
