In my quest to find or develop the ultimate PHP/PEAR error handling system, I've written some handy glue code that repackages both PEAR_Errors and regular PHP errors/warnings/notices into PEAR_ErrorStack errors. I think it's useful, since it unifies all the different error handling methods in PHP 4.x, but I don't think it's big enough to warrant it's own package. Maybe this could go in as an optional component of PEAR_ErrorStack? What should I do with this code? Code is here for anyone who wants to take a look: http://atomized.org/PEAR/StackThunk.phpsNice work. I think the short length of this code might mean it could simply become a new example page in the manual that people can cut and paste. It's incredibly simple, I doubt much maintenance would be necessary, and people will probably want to customize it. However, I'm not opposed to having it available in installable format, but I do think it would need to be a separate package from PEAR_ErrorStack as an optional component, like you say. Either on another channel or through PEAR. Greg
