Hello,
I have developped this library for myself because I felt that the
compression library that I could fine on the web didn't take advantage of
the object oriented aspect of PHP (even if some used classes). pOOcl is a
library that allows you to read and write archives easily. See
http://poocl.la-grotte.org.
It lets you say what you want to do with your archives (for example send it
to a file, by mail or to the standard output). With other compression
libraries, this would generally require that you create a temporary file,
treat it (for example send it by mail), and then delete the temporary file.
I would be happy to have any constructive feedback on it.
Thank you,
