Please, don't. The QF renderer setup is obtuse and requires changes to
existing code to switch renderers.
e.g.
$form->display();
has to be changed to:
$r =& new Renderer;
$form->accept($r);
echo $r->toHtml();
Setting the global is (afaik) the only way to switch renderers without
altering every $form->display() call.
I think you probably have to do something like this in your subform to work
around your problem.
