Pearified.com launched

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know about Pearified.com, a PEAR channel server (and site) that will be hosting a variety of packages, as well as an announcement mailing list for packages for any/all non-pear.php.net packages. I've already posted a combo announcement of Pearified.com and its first release, Smarty-2.6.7 to Smarty-General and PEAR-General. As Pierre-Alain Joye pointed out following my announcement, announcements of PEAR-Compatible Channel packages is likely to be very confusing to PEAR users on the PEAR-General list, and therefore channel package announcements aren't appropriate there. As a solution to this, I'll be setting up a moderated announcements mailing list on pearified.com that will allow for announcements of PEAR-Compatible channel releases. Hopefully this will be a good solution to the situation before it gets any more confusing than my initial announcement already has been. I look forward to comments from you all on the project!
