I think there is a bug in Log_console, well at least there appears to be one when using Fedora Core 3, php 5.0.3 fwrite($this->_stream); (where stream is equal to the string STDOUT, not a resource)
My PHP environment disagrees: However, STDOUT is CLI-specific. Are you attempting to use the 'console' handling outside of the CLI environment? I can't see why that would be especially useful Fedora Core, and probably other distro's aswell, ship with a PHP compiled without CLI support.
My FC3 server with pre-packed PHP-5.0.3 has the CGI version installed in /usr/bin/php: # /usr/bin/php -v PHP 5.0.3 (cgi) (built: Feb 9 2005 07:52:33) Cipri
